The surrounding town centre is currently being renovated, but this restaurant remains a reliably good well-known spot on this part of the coast. The tables are a little close together, but the food is consistently good and service is friendly. All diners are offered a free appetizer on arrival and then chose from the tried and tested seafood menu and daily specials, such as the linguine alle arselle e cicale (linguine pasta with clams and cicalas). Second course dishes include traditionally cooked fish, or perhaps some delicate grilled squid. There’s a good choice of desserts including the Bavarese cream dessert with strawberries and fruits of the forest. The selection of white wines is good and the overall bill comes to around €45/€50.
