Fattoria del Colle is a small rural hamlet built in 1592 that has expanded over the centuries around the villa and the chapel. It is an unspoiled corner of Tuscany offering breathtaking views of the Val d’Orcia and the Crete Senesi. The estate features 16 apartments, 2 villas, 6 en-suite rooms, 3 swimming pools, a restaurant and a venue for parties and banquets, a cooking school and three parks.
Fattoria del Colle is dedicated to preserving Tuscan traditions. Accordingly, the holiday apartments are furnished with small pieces of local antique furniture, the vegetable garden grows heritage wild salad greens, and the restaurant serves local recipes.
Guided cellar tours include a stop in the room that “teaches you to listen to the vineyards,” featuring videos projected onto three walls.
Surrounding Fattoria del Colle are 6 hectares of olive groves, 17 hectares of vineyards, and 5 truffle reserves.
The barrel cellar is located in the villa’s atmospheric underground level. In addition to standard barrels and tonneaux, it houses the infernotto—containing Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s vintage Brunello collection—and the vinsantaia (Vin Santo aging room) in the loft
