Until December 22 2024, it is possible to submit, free of charge, a maximum of 80 oil samples for “The 2025 Selection of PDO and PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oils of Tuscany.”
The Selection aims to highlight the best olive oil production in Tuscany and to use it in promotional activities, rewarding and stimulating the commitment of olive oil producers and companies to the continuous improvement of product quality. The Selection is promoted by the Region of Tuscany, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and its special company PromoFirenze, and by the Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
There will also be a photographic competition; a maximum of 2 photos may be submitted per participant in the Selection, with the possibility of having their photos published in the Catalogue, in Italian and English, printed and consultable online. Beneficiaries Participation in the selection is free of charge and is reserved for the following types of companies:
Companies that are only “bottlers” are not eligible.
The minimum quantity of PDO or PGI oil to be included in the selection is 500 litres.
Registration procedures and deadlines: Companies wishing to participate in the Selection must create their profile if they are registering for the first time, or log on to the portal: ► https://regionetoscana.crmcorporate.it under the “Events” section.
Subsequently, in the “Selection of PDO and PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oils of Tuscany” section, companies are required to fill in the online application form. Applications received before the specified date or submitted by other means are not accepted.
