Their farm has simple and ancient origins, it started from the grandfather of the curretn owners, Natale, who had a small farm of 3 hectares in the municipality of Lucignano.
However, it was only with their fahter that the company grew up, till reaching the current 100 hectares distributed in Valdichiana Senese and Arezzo. The production in those years was mostly related to cereals.
Today, the production is under the control of their daughters, Paola and Susanna, who worked for 10 years to give the company a more modern approach with a greater variety of productions and a lower environmental impact.
In this process, the transition to biological farming was an obligatory choice: a natural evolution to save our land from the risk of infertility and to protect our consumers.
Currently, Azienda Agricola Cepina cultivates 11 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive trees, together with cereals, legumes and vegetables.
In their project of modernization and diversification, a focal point was the development of the agritourism, which can host from 2 people to groups of 20 people in different buildings.
