Restaurants, food and wine companies and the shops of Gaiole and Radda are involved with L’Eroica in Gaiole on September 30 and October 1, starting today, Friday September 29, with the Eroica Dish<\/strong> and the Eroica Shop Windows<\/strong>. And this year, shop windows will also be decorated to greet the race in the city of Siena.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

The countdown is on for the initiative promoted by Confcommercio Siena together with local businesses which are part of the Vetrina Toscana network, the project of the Region and Unioncamere Toscana that promotes quality restaurants, shops and products that express the identity of the territory, and highlights wine and food culture as a tourist attraction. L’Eroica in Gaiole<\/strong> is scheduled for September 30 and October 1. L’Eroica was born here in 1997. It is the great classic. Long distances (209 and 135 km) are planned for Saturday September 30, and short distances starting at 106 km on Sunday. Many restaurants will offer the Eroica Dish from September 29 to Sunday October 1 for lunch and dinner. These are all traditional Tuscan meals, important meals, indeed heroic ones. They range from the Tuna of Chianti to the Florentine Eroica, moving from Pecorino Erborinato with Vin Santo to the Soprassata sandwich and potato ravioli with white Cinta Senese ragout. These dishes may be enjoyed in participating establishments. The Eroica Shop Windows<\/strong><\/h5><\/h2>\n\n

As mentioned, this year the Eroica Shop Windows will also expand to Siena<\/strong>. Falconeri, Charlie Mixology Bar, Ottica Ricci, Elettricit\u00e0 Pizzesi, Enogastronomia Morbidi, Le Camicie Di Chiara, Rosso Melograno, Casa Toscana, Enotabaccheria Puk are all participating. In addition, many shops between Radda and Gaiole, just like the restaurants, have decided to support the race by setting up their shop windows to celebrate the event.
